The Program
The Jardín de la Niña María is a group residential
home staffed by dedicated adults and volunteers. It is designed
to accommodate up to 90 girls in a family style setting who need
a secure long-term living situation or who otherwise might be separated
from their families or siblings. The girls may stay at the Jardín
until they are able to be reunited with their families or are able
to live independently. To best meet the educational needs of the
girls, they are enrolled in various educational institutions, some
private and some public, according to their individual situations.
Full and part-time personnel staff the Jardín, as well as
many volunteers. All are dedicated adults with the incredible task
of working with girls who come to the Jardín from a wide
variety of backgrounds and are all in need of a stable, consistent,
nurturing home. Adults are on the premises and live with the girls
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This provides a family setting with
the stability and security necessary to communicate to the girls
that they are loved and treasured as children of God.
“Whoever receives one child such as this in My name
receives Me.”
