Mission Statement

The mission of the Jardín de la Niña María is to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for girls where they can grow spiritually, emotionally, physically and academically toward the goal of being happy, well-adjusted, self-sufficient, responsible adult women.  The essential goal of the Jardín is to teach skills, build relationships and promote spiritual and moral values that will serve the girls well for their entire lives.  These educational objectives help the girls to learn new ways of thinking, new ways of feeling good about themselves and others, and new ways of behaving.  Developing social skills enables the girls to interact with adults and peers in socially acceptable ways.  All behaviors are model-taught, encouraged, and positively reinforced by the staff and personnel of the Jardín.
