Looking Ahead

One of the pressing needs the Jardín faces is to be able to provide assistance for the older girls who, after graduating from high school, must transition to a more independent lifestyle but find themselves still in need of support.  As they enter young adulthood, the Jardín wishes to assist them in any way necessary to make their hopes and dreams for the future a reality.  This may include assistance in many different areas: emotional, psychological, financial and material.  Guidance and career counseling services are valuable tools from which our young women would greatly benefit.  Upgrading of the infrastructure (electrical, lavatories, computer capabilities, library, etc.) is a necessity also, as well as the ongoing expenses involved in maintaining a high standard of care for the girls' home and living space.
